We've taken the same competitive design of our full-size Crown Gem and created smaller versions for junior-class mountain bike competition. Available in sizes from 12" to 24", this tire offers tubeless tire options in 20" and 24" to offer true off-road performance no matter how small you are, at a very competitive weight. Its unique profile features specially designed side knobs for cornering control and an aggressive center knob for extra traction and speed.
Info from Early Rider: On 14" and 16" Early Rider bikes that originally came Speedster equipped, there is clearance for the Crown Gem. Older 16" Early Rider bikes outfitted with Maxxis Max Daddy or Schwalbe Black Jack didn't have the required clearance. The Early Rider 20" Belter and 24" Belter do not have the required ISO approval for a Crown Gem. That doesn't mean it won't fit, we just can't guarantee it will.
WARNING: Some sealant brands (MucOff, Stan's) and our tires are not 100% compatible. It happens that the tires do not seal. That doesn't happen with ourSuper Sealant. We therefore recommend using our sealing milk or Monkey Sauce for tubeless operation.
